I moved to Arizona from NW Indiana at the age of 19 and started working for Marriott. I started as a front desk clerk at a Courtyard and worked my way up to an Event Assistant at the JW Starr Pass. Working in the hospitality industry taught me how to provide exceptional customer service by anticipating needs, providing timely and flawless service, and great communication skills. I felt something was missing and at the end of the day I wanted a job I felt was more rewarding. I decided to get into the medical field.
I worked at UMC banner for (5) years as a staffing analyst, a Patient Care Technician and an EKG Stress Technician. I took the skill sets I learned from Marriott and was able to apply them to the hospital. However, I never felt I had enough time for my patients and needed to find a new and rewarding career.
In 2016 I earned my Real Estate license and it has been an amazing journey. I feel as though every piece of my life and every job I took was geared toward this. I use all of the hospitality skills I learned at Marriott and I help people during one of the biggest transactions of their lives. I feel very blessed.
